THROW YOUR OWN POT PARTY

As well as the regular Craftastic birthday parties, Craftastic is introducing a new kind of party. Your child and a group of friends can have a go at making a pot on the potters wheel with a professional potter (Bizi Lizi)! All the children will make various hand-built items with air drying clay and each child will have a one to one session on the potters wheel. They will take home everything they have made which they can paint in their own time.

Cost: £50 plus £10 per child (minimum of 8 children)

Age: 5-50!!!!

Birthday parties are an important part of your child’s life and it is becoming increasingly difficult to come up with different and entertaining party ideas.

This is where Craftastic can help! Instead of having a bouncy castle, a magician or another type children's entertainer, you can have TV’s Bizi Lizi come to your house and provide various art and craft activities. Lizi will come along to your party with all the art materials needed to have a fun arts and crafts party.

Activities Craftastic offer include box decorating, jewellery designing, mask making and artist canvas painting. Included in the package are special Craftastic invites and party bags. All you need to worry about is the food! Craftastic will also bring along table cloths and aprons for each child.

The format of the party tends to follow similar timings for each activity. The first half hour is for painting the main project. (All paints used are non-toxic and water based. All paint will wash out of clothes but it is always advisable to wear old clothes!) This is followed by half an hour where the children go for their party food. (Craftastic doesn’t provide food) During this time, Lizi will clear away the paints, dry the painted project and reset the table with the decorations. On their return, the children will then decorate their project for about 30 minutes. They will then have a smaller activity followed by decorating their own party bag ready to take home the things they’ve made.

The age ranges from 6-16, although we will create parties for under 6 with adaptations of the main activities.

Lizi will hold a preliminary meeting with you and your child a couple of weeks before the big day so we can discuss which activity you would like to do. Special Craftastic invites will be provided at this meeting.

Craftastic is based in Clitheroe but will host parties across the whole of the North West subject to travel costs. Areas include Clitheroe, The Ribble Valley, Burnley, Blackburn, Manchester, Cumbria and Cheshire.
